Baffins return to PMC Stadium action aiming for four-straight home league victories after Jason Parish secured a 1-0 victory over Portland United.
It could be Baffins’ fourth-straight victory at PMC Stadium after victories over United Services, Alresford Town and most recently, Portland United.
Rovers recorded the double over their Dorset counterparts last weekend as Jason Parish was gifted the only goal of the game by shot-stopper Mike Edgar.
Back in October, Baffins travelled to Laverstock & Ford’s The Dell for the first time since the sides clashed during Baffins’ 2016/17 Division One promotion-winning campaign.
Charlie Oakwell found the target for the spot, and Frankie Paige struck his first goal for the club as Rovers raced into a two-goal half-time lead in Salisbury. But, remarkably, the match saw four penalties awarded overall — two of which were converted by Laverstock in the second-half as the spoils were shared.
Laverstock & Ford have adapted well to life in step-five after their play-off final triumph away at Newport IOW earned the Bulldogs promotion last campaign. And Saturday’s opponents sit just three points behind Baffins in the league standings, in eighth place.
Most recently, Laverstock bounced back from their Blackfield & Langley defeat by recording a 2-0 victory over Hamble Club on home turf.
You can watch Baffins take on Laverstock & Ford at PMC Stadium on Saturday 18 February, kick-off 3pm. Tickets are priced £6 adults and £4 concessions, and the £10 deal is available which includes entry, programme and a beer from the clubhouse.
