It’s déjà vu for Baffins as they welcome Bournemouth to PMC Stadium for the second time in ten days.

Danny Thompson’s side will be hoping for more of the same after the thrashing of the Dorset outfit last time out.

Rovers headed into the clash with Bournemouth after an 8-0 rout over Lymington Town the game before - and almost managed to replicate the scoreline, winning 7-0.

Baffins come into another night under the lights after a 3-1 victory at Ringwood Town in Wessex League Cup action on Saturday. Thompson handed starts to Harry Fox, Tyrhys Lukonyomoi, Harvey Wellham and Toby Gibson for the trip to the Division One side, as Maxwell Hurst also came into the XI.

Charlie Oakwell’s first-half goal was added to by Dan Wood and Hurst in the second half as Rovers progressed to the third round stage of the competition that they won last season.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, haven’t played since their thrashing in PO3 ten days ago, and Rovers can once again expect to come up against former midfielder Brad Gale, who has been ever-present for the Poppies so far this campaign.

Baffins booked their place in the Second Round of the competition after a convincing 4-0 victory against Newport on the Isle of Wight last month. Tyrhys Lukonyomoi, Danny Burroughs and a Miles Everett double was enough for Rovers to breeze past their Division One opponents.
