Baffins Complete Ford Signing

Baffins Milton Rovers Football Club are delighted to welcome midfielder Archy Ford to the club.

The youngster started 20 matches for Fleetlands in Wessex League Division One last term, helping the Coptermen to a fifth-placed finished.

Before joining the Gosport-based side in October last year, he made a handful of appearances for Totton & Eling and Hamble Club - where he captained their under 23's side at the age of just 17.

Matt Powell said: "Archy was in the academy at Southampton for eight years and played in the same team as Tyler Dibling.

'He's a combative midfielder who covers every blade of grass, and he can comfortably slot into the back-line when needed.

'Although he's still young, he plays like a much more experienced player and he has the potential to play at a much higher level, which is hopefully with us at Baffins!"
