Baffins Milton Rovers Football Club is proud to be hosting a special charity football match on Sunday 18 May, in memory of our former manager Louis Bell.
The Pompey stars are now confirmed for the fundraising fixture, with former Baffins forward Brett Pitman taking to the PO3 turf once again, alongside Lee Brown, Michael Doyle, Danny Hollands, Guy Butters and Lee Bradbury.
Alan Knight MBE will also be in attendance at PMC Stadium. Tony Male MBE's Pompey Charity Squad side will also include the likes of Rowan Vine, Benedict Akwuegbu and Ashley Harris.
Entry to the match is priced £5 for all, cash only, with all proceeds from the 1pm kick-off going to support two vital cancer charities, Friends Fighting Cancer and The Amelia-Mae Foundation.
The current Rovers squad will be joined by a Louis Bell Baffins Old Boys XI, Louis Jr Select XI and Pompey Charity Squad for what promises to be a memorable afternoon. Charlie Bell, Jack Fox, Jason Parish, Harvey Wellham, Arty Kerton and Fin Bello will all take to the pitch for Baffins.
Louis Jr Select XI will include the likes of Rudi Blankson, Joel Jackson, Brad Fairweather, Gary Austin, Billy Butcher, Ray Ogilvie and Louis Bell Jr himself.
The fundraising event will get underway at 11:30am, featuring a live performance from band Guilt Trippin. Supporters can also purchase food and drink, participate in raffles and blackouts, with an ice cream van also on site.
We encourage everyone in the local football community to come along and support the two charities and the players participating as we remember a true club legend.
