Kerton Bids Farewell

We can confirm Arty Kerton has departed the club to join AFC Stoneham.

The 22-year-old midfielder swapped Cams Alders for PMC Stadium in January 2023, joining Baffins from then fellow Wessex Premier Division side Fareham Town.

Kerton appeared seven times, including twice from the bench, in the second half of the 2022/23 campaign - and was part of the Rovers squad that lifted the Wessex League Cup that year.

The following campaign, the tough-tackling midfielder asserted himself as a main-stay in the Baffins side, appearing 37 times in all competitions. Kerton netted his first Baffins goal at Lymington Town before scoring with an audacious first-time effort at Bournemouth just two weeks later.

He was present more last term than ever before for Rovers, with 42 appearances in League and cup competitions, finding the back of the net a further two times as Baffins narrowly missed out on a second-successive play-off spot.

Everyone at Baffins would like to thank Arty for his service during his time in PO3 and wish him the best of luck at AFC Stoneham.
