Baffins round off 2022 with the visit of United Services Portsmouth on Thursday 29 December (7:45pm).

Baffins welcome United Services Portsmouth to round-off the calendar year on Thursday 29 December (7:45pm).

It provides Danny Thompson’s side a chance to record four-straight league victories after successes at Portland United, and on home turf against Cowes Sports and Bournemouth.

The most recent fixture saw Tom Vincent, Jason Parish and Joe Johnson find the target. Midfielder Steve Ramsey - now returned to AFC Portchester - saw his corner headed into the Poppies net by a defender in the 4-1 victory.

It will be the second time the two clubs have met this campaign after USP were at the PMC Stadium for a Hampshire Cup clash back in September.

Brad Gale netted his first goal for Baffins after his summer arrival from Blackfield & Langley, as Parish and Kelvin Robinson both netted from the bench as Rovers eased into the next round with a 3-0 scoreline.

The Gunwharf-based side make the short trip to PO3 on a three-match winning run in all competitions. Most recently, United Services smashed Laverstock & Ford 4-0 at Victory Stadium.

Danny Burroughs - who previously had a stint on a dual-registration at Baffins - netted twice in the victory, as Kelvin Mathe and Dan Sibley also found the target.

Rovers have recently completed the signing of former USP playmaker Tom Dinsmore, but the midfielder has been ruled out of facing his former club with injury. Meanwhile, former USP players Frankie Paige and Owen Scammell could be in contention on Thursday.

Tickets can only be purchased on the turnstiles on Thursday 29 December (7:45pm kick-off). Tickets are priced £6 adults and £4 concessions.
