Baffins are back on the road Saturday for the visit to Christchurch (3pm kick-off).

Aiming to return to winning ways, Baffins travel to Christchurch for the first time since the dramatic 5-4 victory at Hurn Bridge last campaign.

Christchurch found themselves two goals to the good inside the first six minutes of the encounter before Kelvin Robinson struck a goal back.

Church would've thought they were on their way to three points with an eventual 4-2 lead before goals from Ed Sanders, Tom Vincent and Charlie Oakwell all found the back of the net to complete a vintage comeback.

Baffins will be aiming to claim their first victory of the festive period in Dorset after falling to a 3-1 defeat at AFC Portchester last weekend. Tyrhys Lukonyomoi struck a leveller early in the second half, but Conor Bailey and Josh Benfield ensured the points remained Creekside.

Danny Thompson’s side will travel to Christchurch knowing they could climb to as high as seventh with three points. Saturday’s opponents sit 16th in the Wessex Premier Division standings currently and suffered a 3-0 defeat on home turf to neighbours Brockenhurst in their most recent encounter.

That result ended an impressive three-match winning run, which saw away victories over both Petersfield Town and Lymington Town, before a dramatic 4-3 triumph over Bournemouth.

It was a convincing victory for Baffins in the reverse fixture earlier this campaign. Robinson, Harvey Wellham and Danny Burroughs all found the target in 4-0 victory, with the September clash Rovers’ first home win this term.

Tickets can only be purchased on the turnstiles at Hurn Bridge and are priced £7 adults and £4 concessions.
