Bournemouth 0 Baffins 7

ree

Baffins enjoyed a second successive seven-goal haul in four days as they thumped Bournemouth at Victoria Park.

It was Rovers' second trip to face the Poppies in ten days after Danny Burroughs and Lewis Beale struck in a 2-1 League success.

And it took the latter just 32 seconds to open the scoring at Victoria Park on his occasion, slamming home from promising winger David Smith-Alferez's early cross.

Much like the 7-1 triumph against New Milton on Saturday, Baffins roared into an early three-goal lead. Burroughs rifled home before Beale scored his second after just ten minutes.

There were two further goals in the first interval - the first saw Ed Sanders smash from from the second phase of a corner, before Jason Parish was played through on goal and slotted under the keeper.

The second-half was more of the same, with Beale completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot before Matt Simm claimed Rovers' seventh of the evening.

Baffins will host a League Cup fixture for the first time since November 2021 in the next round, as they welcome Hamble Club or Fawley AFC to PMC Stadium.
