Baffins eased into the Second Round of the Russell-Cotes Cup with a three-goal victory at Beatrice Avenue.
Pete Stiles and Matt Powell made six changes to the side that were victorious at Christchurch, with Chad Cornwell, Fin Bello, Ed Sanders, Florjet Vucaj, Archy Ford and David Smith-Alferez all coming in for the First Round clash.
Those changes meant the match took a while to get going on a chilly Isle of Wight - but Rovers eventually took the lead on 42 minutes as skipper for the night Connor Messenbird found Ford, who curled in a delightful strike from 25-yards.
An injury to one of the linesman meant an East Cowes supporter stood in for the second half, and one of his first involvements was to rule out a Lewis Beale strike on 58 minutes.
The game burst into life, however, when Danny Burroughs emerged from the bench and struck twice inside two minutes - with two low driven strikes from inside the area putting Rovers out of sight.
The victory sets up a Second Round tie away to Southern League Division One outfit Bashley, with full match details to be announced in due course.
